My career journey
“Sales skills in the Νο1 skillset to succeed in our career”
I started my career in 2003 in the field of professional services sales alongside my studies. The first two years I worked in B2B sales of advertising services at a radio station of a large Greek business group (Politis Group). I then continued in the banking industry until 2012 where I worked in large multinational banks (Citibank, HSBC) in sales, sales executive training and business development roles.
In 2012, having now had a lot of experience in the banking industry, living in Greece during the crisis, I moved to Rotterdam, the Netherlands for my postgraduate studies in Financial Derivatives, where within a few months it became clear to me that this industry does not fulfill me.
The Leap of faith
This led me to make the brave decision (which at the time seemed like a leap into the void) to drop out of graduate school and turn to what my heart was calling me to do. I looked inside and saw that what filled me from what I had done up until then was training and developing people.
From Banking & Investments to Training & Coaching
I decided to turn the page by rewriting my story from scratch and turn to creativity and entrepreneurship, doing what my mission calls me to do.
In 2013 I founded the international educational organization Solidarity Mission specializing in social entrepreneurship and skills development for young entrepreneurs, where I was the Executive Director and head of international educational programs in Social Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Effective Communication and Personal Development for a 10-year period.
Since 2013, I have personally provided training and coaching services to aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals who want to experience success in all areas of their lives.
In addition, I have been in the workforce of multinational HR consulting companies (Randstad, Dynargie) as an HR Consultant, Trainer and Coach with a more recent collaboration with Positivity Global Coaching, having gained extensive experience in HR services and in the design and implementation of training programs and development aimed at positive change in companies and the development of skills of their executives.
The most recent Training and Coaching programs I have implemented include companies/clients such as Apha Bank, Eurobank, Piraeus Bank, Hellenic Bank, NN Hellas, ERGO, Lidl Hellas, Titan, Imerys, Athens Brewery, Cosmote, Avis, ATOS, CQS, Webhelp , Neptune Lines, CLS Behring, Intrum Hellas Papoutsanis, L’Oreal, Dorea, etc.
My self-awareness & learning journey
I am a graduate of the University of Piraeus, Department of Organization & Business Administration. I have attended the MSc in Financial Economics at the Erasmus School of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam. Changing course my education focused on entrepreneurship, leadership and adult education and development. In 2015 I obtained my first diploma in Personal Coaching from EMCC & AC and in 2018 the second diploma in Personal & Executive Coaching from ICF.
As a supporter of lifelong learning, I am constantly acquiring new knowledge and developing my skills having attended training seminars from renowned trainers, business consultants and coaches in over 7 countries and online on management and leadership, training skills, mentoring and coaching, effective communication and sales skills, as well as personal and professional development programs.
In my “free” time, I continue to develop myself with passion, through leadership and personal development seminars in Greece and abroad. When I’m not working, I travel as I love nature, the sea and good food, always with good company and good music.
